Junior’s Story: Battling Depression with the help of Ketamine Infusion Therapy

Junior has had a completely transformative journey with ketamine infusion therapy, and today I will be telling you his story.

Junior struggled with severe depression and anxiety for a significantly prolonged time; multiple circumstances caused this feeling. Alongside depression and anxiety, Junior was also battling suicidal thoughts and self-doubts. There were many times where he felt overwhelmed, but he often kept to himself. About a year ago, Junior reached a threshold and decided he needed to talk to someone. He took the initiative to seek out various therapies and treatments. Before he came to our clinic, he had tried therapy and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS); both treatments weren’t as effective as Junior had wanted them to be. That is when he started looking into ketamine infusion therapy. Hesitant at first, he still decided to give ketamine infusion therapy a chance. Prior to ketamine infusion therapy, Junior struggled with severe depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, which impacted his physical, mental, and family health.

After undergoing his 5th infusion, he wants to share his experience with others suffering from similar conditions.

Junior says that “Ketamine has been a life-changing experience. I feel as if I’ve gotten the chance to start over with a blank canvas, with the reins of my life in my hands!”

Junior suggests all patients with treatment-resistant depression and anxiety try Ketamine Infusion Therapy.

“Do it as soon as possible and come into it with an open mind. This could be just as life-changing for you as it was for me!” Junior exclaims.

Currently, Junior is on his 6th and last ketamine infusion. His feelings of depression and anxiety are highly alleviated; his feelings of suicide have diminished entirely, and he has been able to reset his sleep cycle.

Feeling in control and ready to take on the world, Junior is heading to law school this coming fall, and we couldn’t be happier to see his progress!
